RENTAL GUIDELINES

GUIDELINES FOR RENTING LASRDF DANCE CENTER

NOTICE: Building will not be rented on Saturday for Club dances.

A. PRIORITY USE OF BUILDING:

First: Federation scheduled events

Second: LASRDF member clubs

Third: Building specials (not to override club specials)

Fourth: Caller and cuer members of the West Texas Teachers and

Callers Association

Fifth: Other Events as approved by the Board of Officers and/or the

Board of Directors

PROCEDURES FOR SECURING USE OF BUILDING:

1) Contact building manager to reserve building.

2) Reveal purpose and benefit of use.

3) Relate length of time desired.

4) Confirm date or dates in writing to building manager within 15 days of initial contact.

5) Sign rental agreement and return to building manager within 30 days of initial contact.

PRIORITY OF BUILDING USER:

First: The first club reserving building, with the longest term lease.

Second: Dual lease may be signed, if agreed upon in writing by both clubs.

Third: Clubs or callers using building on night to night basis will be subject to cancellation upon 30 day written notice, if longer term user applies for lease on their dates.

D. THE LEASE AGREEMENT SHALL BE OF THE FORM THAT IS

APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF OFFICERS AND CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING

SPECIAL CLAUSES:

1) Purpose and benefit of use.

2) The first right of refusal of the existing lessee.

3) Clause pertaining to care and liability of building.

4) Rules and regulations of square dancers in general.

5) Special provision section.
